Nobody owns the room quite like Brian Setzer, which is why we are pleased to offer this Gretsch G6120T-BSSMK Brian Setzer Signature Nashville Hollowbody '59 "Smoke" model, a faithful recreation of Brian's main stage guitar "Stray Cat." Crafted in Japan, the attention to detail on this model is impressive, from the period correct '59 headstock shape and logo to the pickguard shape, size, bracket, switch locations, and wonderful "Smoke Orange" finish. Built for rock royalty standards, the hollow body is crafted from a 2.5-inch single cutaway laminated maple body with rolled edges. The arched maple top features period accurate 1959 trestle bracing and oversized F-holes for enhanced resonance and sonic projection. The entire body top and back is wrapped in aged white binding, showcasing both expert craftsmanship as well as an elevated appointment style. It's solid maple neck is affixed to the body in a traditional set-neck design and sports a vintage "V" neck shape along with a 9.5-inch to 12-inch compound radius bound ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard has been rolled for comfort is adorned with pearliod neo-classic thumbnail inlays and is crowned with 22 medium jumbo frets.

To amplify Brian's signature sound, two TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity humbucking pickups are located in both the neck and bridge positions. These pickups provide timeless tone with great bass response, stand out mid-range, and shimmering clear highs. The master volume control is equipped with a treble bleed circuit to tame the bass at lower volumes. A standard 3-way selector switch, neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, and 3-way tone switch offer a range of sonic exploration.

Keeping the entire guitar stable is a collection of high quality hardware components. "Smoke" is equipped with a Adjusto-Matic bridge with a pinned rosewood base and a Bigsby B6CGH tailpiece for expressive control over vibrato. Strings rest easily on the Delrun nut before being strung to pitch with the Gotoh locking tuning machines at the period correct headstock design. The guitar comes complete with its black hardshell case for protection.
