Martin 2016 SS-OMVINE-16 With OHSC 12 Of 35 - Used
This absolute stunner of guitar arrived at the 2016 NAMM Show in Anaheim as a highly limited 35 piece offering. A handful of dealers were lucky enough to acquire them and the customers who ended up purchasing them were even luckier.
It is very hard not to start with the looks and specs of this guitar so let's start by saying that it boasts highly figured English Walnut on the top, back, sides, and neck (and on this example we can not emphasize the word "highly" enough when referring to the figure of the wood on this guitar). An incredible aluminum vine inlay adorns the ebony fingerboard, ebony headstock overlay, and body (in a place where you'd normally find a pickguard); the rosette also features a detailed aluminum inlay. It also features Liquidmetal bridge pins which accent the aluminum inlays perfectly, pearl dots to go with the vine inlay, Golden Age relic nickle tuners, and a bone nut and saddle.
The fact this is all walnut means it produces a beautifully smooth and warm bass tone with clear and crisp mids & treble. It is equally ready for finger style or flat picking. Like all of our guitars, it has been properly set up by our amazing in-house repair technicians and plays great.
This is serial number 12 of 35 and it is in excellent to near mint/flawless condition. It is ready to be played or admired by the person lucky enough to take it home.
