The Snareweight Fader F1 Drum Damper offers adjustable, precision drumhead control for both batter and resonant sides, making it an ideal tool for managing sustain, decay, and overtones without altering the core tone of the drum. Designed with a sliding dial that adjusts damping across five levels—plus an “off” setting for complete transparency—the F1 provides a wider range of control than the M1 or M80 models. Whether you're after subtle decay reduction or heavy muting, the Fader F1 delivers dialed-in performance with intuitive tactile feedback.
An additional tension screw allows users to modify the pressure of the leather damper against the head, effectively simulating added mass and changing the drum's response. This makes it particularly effective on floor toms and rack toms when seeking to eliminate bottom head warble or achieve tighter punch in recording scenarios. Compatible with triple-flange, die-cast, and Angel hoops, the Fader F1 is gravity-resistant and built for durability. It is not recommended for arc hoops or stick saver hoop styles.
